The North Dakota Petroleum Foundation hosts a seminar for educators to learn about the oil industry and take projects, lessons, and ideas back to the classroom. The seminar also helps educators explain to their students how geography, math, chemistry, geometry, etc. tie into the oil and gas industry and possible careers.
This year's seminar will be held June 21-24 at the National Energy Center of Excellence at Bismarck State College. Participants will be eligible for two professional development credits from MSU, NDSU or UND.
